Alex Herrera has a Master\'s Degree from the University of Central Florida and has been conducting advanced training and public speaking engagements for over 25 years. He has held numerous formal leadership positions and currently holds the rank of Commander at a large Central Florida Sheriff\'s Office where he currently oversees a large precinct, the Aviation Unit, the Agricultural / Marine Unit, the Traffic Unit, and agency volunteers. Some of his prior duties included overseeing all agency training, leading the agency\'s Career Development Unit / Training Unit along with the background and recruitment division, being assigned as the Major of the Professional Standards Unit (Internal Affairs), K-9 Unit Supervisor, Public Information Officer, Traffic Homicide Supervisor, Narcotics & Vice Supervisor, Homicide Agent, Special Victim\'s Unit Agent, and more. I am an experienced Leadership Development Trainer, Personal Development Speaker and has been a keynote speaker on numerous occasions. I am the owner and lead instructor of Maxson Training & Consulting. I provide training seminars and talks that are attended by people of all ages and backgrounds and have inspired leaders from a variety of industries.
