About Alexis Hawk

I have a Master of Education from Christian Brothers University and a Bachelor of Arts from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I studied US History, Psychology, and Education. Currently, I am the Youth Director at YMCA of the Triangle, where I organize, oversee, and promote high-quality and engaging programming for youth. As the Youth Director, I am responsible for leading and developing over 31 part-time youth staff, and for ensuring that all our programs meet or exceed YMCA guidelines and standards. I also develop and maintain collaborative relationships with community organizations, and assist with the YMCA Annual Campaign, where I have a personal fundraising goal of I am passionate about creating positive and inclusive learning environments, and empowering youth to develop their skills, character, and potential.
