ABOUT ALEXIS DISHMAN

Alexis Dishman is the Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer at Community Reinvestment Fund (CRF), where she leads the organization’s small business lending operations. In this role, she is responsible for managing the lending team, overseeing organizational risk, and expanding CRF’s technical assistance program for customers.With over 20 years of experience in both corporate and nonprofit sectors—and more than 14 years specifically in small business lending Dishman brings a deep understanding of community finance and economic development. Her previous leadership roles include positions at Michigan Women Forward,IFF, Bank of America, and Comerica Bank.Deeply committed to community service, Dishman serves on the board of Jefferson East, Inc, where she is Treasurer. She is also the co-founder, investor, board member, and Loan Committee Chair of the Community Unity Bank of Southeast Michigan. Alexis is a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago’s Advisory Committee for Economic Development, Agriculture, and Labor.Her work has earned widespread recognition. In 2013, she was named a Woman of Excellence by the Michigan Chronicle and received the Shining Light Award from the Detroit Free Press and the Metropolitan Coalition of Concerned Citizens. She was also included in Crain’s Detroit Business’s “40 Under 40” in 2013 and honored as a Notable Money Manager in 2023.Dishman earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Michigan State University and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Wayne State University. She also holds an Executive Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership from the Harvard Kennedy School of Executive Education.
