ABOUT ALEXIS BURLESON

I am a Site Readiness and Regulatory Specialist at Fortrea, a leading contract research organization that provides innovative solutions for drug development. I have over three years of experience in the clinical research industry, and I hold a B.S. in Biology, a NC-EMT certification, and a PMP certification in progress. My core competencies include eTMF management, scientific research, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving. In my current role, I ensure the quality, completeness, and compliance of the electronic trial master file (eTMF) system, which contains essential documents and records for clinical trials. I also communicate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, such as sponsors, investigators, and site personnel, to facilitate the site initiation, activation, and maintenance processes. Additionally, I apply my scientific research skills to review and interpret study protocols, documents, and data, and provide feedback and recommendations to improve study performance and outcomes. I am passionate about advancing the field of clinical research and contributing to the development of new and effective therapies for patients. I value innovation, quality, and integrity, and I seek to work with a diverse and dynamic team that shares these values and goals.
