About Alexis Bond
Hi! I’m Alexis Bond, a 6th grade ELA teacher in the Tolleson area and a 2025 Teach For America corps member. I graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University with degrees in Media Arts and Sciences (BA) and Criminal Justice (BS), plus a minor in Psychology, and I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Education (expected December 2026).My work centers on literacy, student confidence, and creating a classroom where kids feel capable and supported. Before teaching, I interned with the Arizona Senate as a Legislative Broadcast Intern, which shaped my interest in policy and long-term plans to pursue law school with a focus on civil rights, environmental, or animal welfare law.Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about me and I look forward to connecting!
