ABOUT ALEXIA BARANDIARAN
As an aspiring med-peds or family medicine physician with experience in immuno-oncology and biochemistry, I am excited to be on that journey as a medical student at FAU. I thrive in patient-forward environments, and have been using my free time dedicated to my community, whether it is volunteering at the Caridad Clinic or by providing free pet therapy with my dog. I have a strong background in bench research where I look to further explore various immunological pathways, specifically in the context of cancer biology or infectious disease. I hope to use my experience in novel therapies that can be translated to patients in the clinic.
