At Google Austin I built a new team from the ground up to design and deliver a high-scale low-latency back end system to power all of Google\'s internal people operations. My org currently consists of multiple engineering teams, with Engineering Managers and Technical Leaders as my direct reports. In addition to the above, we own the main hub where Googlers interact with the company, receive information from the org, and which powers our performance management systems. We also own the central Content Management System for internal Google communications, enabling Google to quickly build microsites to disseminate information to its employees. We invented and delivered a unified Task management system for Googlers to easily keep track of all of their responsibilities at Google, and the Manager Hub where managers can see at a glance their responsibilities and team health. I am also a member of the Austin site Steering Committee and run the programs for both Manager Development and Engineer Development for the Austin site.
