Lead research, insights, and strategic advisory for the Riot MMO; inform the direction of the game by driving player, product, and market understanding Guide direction of Riot\'s central user research team as a PO, including vision, scope, responsibilities, processes, hiring, and sustainable growth Foster growth of research staff and set them up for success within the organization and their careers Set up the team and it\'s members to best provide insights and validation for products throughout prototype, pre-production, and production Ensure successful integration of researchers into product teams, proliferation of best practices, and development of new methodologies Drive user research efforts on game teams in partnership with production and design leadership on high complexity, ambiguous problem spaces to help inform the experience of our new games, systems, and features Advocate for players and provide strategic guidance about their desires, needs, pain points, and behaviors Contribute to Riot\'s Games Pillar on strategy and operations as part of the Strategic Advisory department Create and execute labs, studies, and surveys with novel or complex methodologies designed to answer design, development, and product questions Analyze and integrate findings from playtests, user testing, and research studies to improve project outcomes Share results with Games Pillar leadership in clear, illustrative presentations that drive meaningful change
