An experienced, creative, and passionate technical leader and people manager. Following a PhD and a postdoctoral role in nanoscience, specialising in colloidal interactions, Alex joined the Johnson Matthey Technology Centre Emissions Control Research group before moving into more senior roles for Hydrogen Technologies. Technical projects have drawn on his strong collaborative skills with internal and external partners and suppliers, as well as his expertise in colloidal interactions and synchrotron radiation characterisation techniques.Outside of science, Alex is actively involved in choral and barbershop music and is a sought - after coach, arranger, and contest judge
