About Alexei Vyssotski

Alexei V. Vyssotski is a General Manager of Reservoir Management at Tengizchevroil LLP, a leading company in Kazakhstan and a Kazakhstani partnership owned by Chevron, KazMunayGas, ExxonMobil and Lukoil. In his role, Alexei oversees the base business production, reservoir management and asset development of the giant Tengiz and Korolev fields, achieving a gross production of BOEPD. Over Alexei’s 24-year career with Chevron, he has held numerous leadership and technical positions in the asset development, reservoir management, operations, strategy, appraisal, exploration and talent management, with assignments in the United States, Venezuela and Kazakhstan. His subsurface experience includes carbonate reservoir, deep water assets, conventional and shale and tight assets, waterfloods and CO2 floods, heavy oil, CO2 sequestration, as well as exploration and appraisal across multiple geographies.Alexei joined Chevron in as a geologist in Houston, Texas. He graduated with a Master’s degree in geology from Rice University and earned a Bachelor’s degree in geology from Sam Houston State University.

   As the General Manager for Reservoir Management, I oversee the base business production and asset development of the giant Tengiz and Korolev fields, achieving a gross production of approximately BOEPD. This includes managing sour gas injection for improved oil recovery.• I am responsible for setting strategies and direction for optimizing base business production operations, asset development, and reservoir management. My role involves developing comprehensive business plans with accountability for delivering production targets, reserves, CAPEX, OPEX, generating new opportunities, and managing drilling and workover programs.• I oversee teams dedicated to Asset Development, Production Engineering, Applied Reservoir Management, Subsurface Regulatory Compliance, and Planning & Business Performance.
