ABOUT ALEX ECKL
As tender manager at Ocean Infinity I lead tenders across the globe and across marine disciplines, advancing our mission to transform operations at sea through lean crewed and uncrewed vessels, enabling both people and the planet to thrive. I work with our BD and product team bringing first of their kind USVs to market. I\'m a strong believer that the offshore industry can benefit from the push towards remote crewed solutions, for the safety of personnel, accessibility of roles to everyone and reduced impact on the environment and marine life. In my previous role I worked directly in USV services commercialisation and tendering - establishing a solid foundation of long term USV projects in Europe, and landing Fugro\'s Blue Eclipse its first commercial project, breaking into the Norwegian market. Before moving into the commercial side of Marine Asset Integrity and Marine Site Characterisation, I worked across both land and offshore geophysical projects.I earned my Geophysics BSc at Imperial College London, and have a background in offshore sailing globally.Outside of work I\'m a passionate street and travel photographer.
