ABOUT ALEX DAVIES
I am leading Rethink TV\'s forecasting division, as well as the Wireless Watch and RAN Research services. I was the founding editor and main contributor of Rethink IoT (Riot). I do a lot of background work for the company, with Microsoft administration, WordPress, MailChimp, and Spotify (for podcasts). I spend a lot of time thinking about the big macro trends that impact these industries, and how smaller pieces move in relation (and tension) with each other. I write news articles, research reports, create forecasting models, and conduct bespoke consulting projects - with a smattering of podcasts and webinars too. I enjoy tinkering with cars and computers, American Football (Southampton Stags, Chicago Bears), aggressive music, books, beer, barbecue, and making cider. I\'m currently renovating a ~250 year old stone cottage too!HPE definitely called me an \'IoT Rockstar\' at some point, but now they\'ve decided that \'IoT Leader\' sounds better, so I guess I\'ll settle for that. bit.ly/2NDm41q
