About Alexcia Perilloux

I am an LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center graduate, where I earned a dual degree entailing a Juris Doctorate and a degree in Comparative Law. Combining these degrees intensify my understanding of common and civil law, enabling me to negotiate, draft, and understand legal relationships with foreign entities. I am particularly interested in corporate law, intellectual property law, and sports law/Name, Image, Likeness. During my law school career, I have served as a member of the Student Bar Association Academics Committee, Student Bar Association Athletics Committee, Public Interest Law Society, Women’s Law Society, and Sports Law Society. Additionally, I served as a notetaker through the university\'s disability services and a mentor to four 1L students to help guide them through their first year of law school. Prior to law school, my academic background focused on political studies with a concentration in law and legal systems, communication, and sociology. In May 2020, I graduated from Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science as a Dean’s Scholar, five out of the six semesters I spent pursuing undergraduate studies. As a result of taking four intense language courses, I speak and understand Spanish at an intermediate level.
