ABOUT ALEXANDRE CHAN
Professor Alexandre Chan is a Founding Chair and Professor in Clinical Pharmacy at University of California, Irvine (UCI) School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences. He is a Visiting Professor at National Cancer Center Singapore, and a Clinical Pharmacist at the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center in Orange, USA. A board-certified specialist in Pharmacotherapy and Oncology Pharmacy, Alex has published >320 full-length peer-reviewed manuscripts in a wide array of cancer supportive care and survivorship topics, and his research program has attracted >$10 million USD of competitive funding support from the National Institute of Health/National Cancer Institute, National Medical Research Council Singapore, various foundations, and pharmaceutical companies. Alex is an elected Fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy and the International Society of Oncology Pharmacy Practitioners (ISOPP). He is currently serving as a Vice Chair for the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) Oncology Pharmacy Specialty Council. He was a Past President of ISOPP and President-Elect of the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC).
