ABOUT ALEX BEDWELL
Alex Bedwell is a Legislative Assistant in the Office of Congresswoman Lisa McClain.Previously, Alex was a a Legislative Aide in the Office of Congressman Earl L. “Buddy” Carter and a Policy Analyst at BGR Group, where he worked with clients on telecommunications, transportation and infrastructure, right to repair, energy, and workforce development issues. He also authored BGR’s weekly Artificial Intelligence Briefing and Inflation Reduction Act Briefing. In addition, Alex managed the CAR Coalition, overseeing its policy development, strategic planning, and federal and state advocacy efforts.Alex began his career at BGR Group as a Research Clerk and later Associate before becoming a Policy Analyst. He also has prior experience in financial services at Pfizer on the credit risk team and at T.E. Lott & Company, where he assisted clients with business and individual tax return issues.Alex received his Bachelors of Business Administration in both Finance and Economics from Mississippi State University. While in school, Alex served as Mississippi State’s Student Body Treasurer from 20••••19, Student Association Senator representing the College of Business, and Chairman of Appropriations. He was also a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity and the TVA Investment Panel.
