I founded ecoPreserve in 2009 to help create a more sustainable, resilient future through the built environment. That mission evolved to delivering engineering-driven solutions in climate resilience, adaptation, and human health, working with cities, counties, hospitals, and universities across the U.S. Becoming a certified B Corp wasn’t just a milestone for ecoPreserve —it reflected the values at our core: environmental responsibility, social equity, and long-term impact.I am proud that Oscar Vargas now leads ecoPreserve with integrity and the same deep commitment, while I transition from day-to-day operations to focus on nonprofit service.
