About Alex Arias
Received my bachelor\'s degree in mechanical engineering from Clemson University in May 2023, with a minor in business administration. Completed four internships throughout different areas of the Gas Power and Automotive industries. After graduating, I started working as an Engineering Designer at General Motors as a part of the TRACK Program. This is a 2 year rotational program, where I completed stints in Interiors, Transmissions & Drive Units, and Electrification Propulsion Systems. After exiting TRACK in September 2025 I started my current role as an Engineering Designer for Electrification Propulsion Systems. Skilled in Siemens NX, Siemens VIS Mockup, Matlab, SolidWorks, Microsoft Excel, and more. I am a very strong communicator with leadership experience and a strong drive to work as hard as possible to help create new products and ideas. In my free time I built Jester, an online platform and mobile app for discovering stand-up comedy. Gaining experience in programming, app development, UI Design, AWS Systems, marketing, graphic design, and much more!
