ABOUT ALEXANDRU M. MATEI
Grew up in Romania, studied in Italy, working in Germany. Our world is at a tipping point. Unparalleled CO2 and methane emissions, deforestation, unstainable agricultural practices, overfishing, and the permanent destruction of our ecosystems and their biodiversity, are directly or indirectly, contributing to the biggest emergency of our century: accelerated climate change. I am determined to keep pouring my creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills into enabling companies to undergo a deeply rooted sustainability transformation, with decarbonized and circular economy business models at heart. On a personal level, I value impeccable integrity, commitment, open communication, teamwork and I always strive toward building long-lasting relationships with those surrounding me. Learning new languages is one of my passions and I very much enjoy being able to immerse myself in different cultures. When I\'m not working, you most probably will find me doing all sorts of sports including cycling, rollerblading, running, hiking, climbing, wakeboarding, windsurfing, snowboarding, skiing, cross-country skiing or bouldering.
