I represent producers, production companies, writers, directors, creators, and entertainment businesses on the corporate and transactional side of entertainment law.My practice is built around four lanes: production counsel (acting as outside general counsel for the project itself), creative and talent agreements (review, drafting, and negotiation for the people being hired, attached, or engaged), project-side corporate documentation (entity setup, producer arrangements, governance, and investor-readiness), and New Jersey production and tax-credit-related legal support.Production counsel means more than reviewing contracts. It means helping make sure the production’s entity, internal producer relationships, rights chain, releases, vendor agreements, talent paperwork, and legal file are organized properly — before the project moves forward and before small gaps become expensive problems.I work with clients at every stage: development, pre-production, active production, post, and delivery. I also work with professionals — managers, accountants, payroll providers, insurance brokers, and lawyers — who see production-side and creative-side legal issues before most lawyers do.Before focusing on entertainment law, I worked in investment banking and also spent years as a professional actor with credits in film, television, and commercial work.
