ABOUT ALEXANDRIA W.
I am a senior program and policy leader with over a decade of experience shaping child and family systems at the local, state, and national levels. My work sits at the intersection of systems reform, policy implementation, program design, and lived experience expertise.I have led the development of new departments, designed and scaled community-based and virtual support models, managed cross-functional teams, overseen budgets and compliance, and partnered with government agencies, foundations, and national organizations to improve outcomes for children, youth, and families. My experience spans frontline systems, federal consulting, policy advocacy, research coordination, and executive nonprofit leadership. As a former foster youth and a current foster and kinship parent (relative and non-relative), I bring a rare systems-level perspective that bridges policy intent with real-world impact. I specialize in translating complex systems into actionable strategies that improve permanency, relational health, and long-term outcomes—particularly for Black and Brown young people and families.Currently, I serve as Founder and Executive Director of Culture Creations Inc, where I provide strategic leadership across operations, fundraising, partnerships, compliance, and board development. I also work nationally as a federal child welfare consultant, trainer, and systems advisor, supporting data integrity, implementation effectiveness, and cross-state collaboration. My work has included:Program and department design and implementationPolicy development and legislative strategyTechnical assistance, training, and systems coachingResearch coordination and data-informed decision-makingExecutive leadership, fundraising, and organizational developmentI am most effective in roles where I can influence systems, guide strategy, and support organizations in moving from intention to measurable change. I am particularly interested in director-level program, policy, strategy, consulting, and foundation roles focused on child and family well-being, permanency, and systems transformation.
