About Alexandria Wilber
As the Executive Director of Wisconsin Visual Artists (WVA), I lead a non-profit organization that supports and promotes visual arts in Wisconsin through advocacy, education, and exhibitions. I have been in this role for over three and a half years, and I am passionate about advancing the artistic and professional development of our members and fostering a vibrant and diverse art community in our state.Before joining WVA, I worked at the Museum of Wisconsin Art (MOWA) for nearly four years, where I held various positions in product development, public programs, and curatorial departments. I have a strong background in communication, financial responsibilities, and strategic events, as well as a deep knowledge and appreciation of contemporary art practices. I am also an artist and a writer myself, and I enjoy creating and sharing my own work through my website and social media platforms.
