ABOUT ALEXANDRIA EVANS
As a rising senior at Emerson College majoring in Sports Communication and minoring in Journalism, I have had the opportunity to foster my passion for journalism and storytelling through on and off campus endeavors.I have invested much of my time into Emerson College\'s student-led broadcast organization, WEBN-TV Boston, where I work as an Executive Producer and writer for sports. Through on-air reporting and web-writing with WEBN, I have had the opportunity to cover major local and national headlines, such as the Head of the Charles Regatta, the New Hampshire gubernatorial race and 2024 Presidential election, and Super Bowl LX Media Week in and around San Francisco, CA.With the Boston Globe, I had the privilege of covering high school and collegiate sports for six months, going behind the scenes in local communities and highlighting stories that often slip through the cracks.As a student and journalist, my avidity for storytelling and knowledge is what drives me, and it\'s something I believe will propel me into a career in media.
