About Alexandria Eddy

As a kid I knew I always wanted to do something with science. I had years during my life when I was so focused on one topic or another. I would read every book I could get my hands on and I would learn as much as I could about whatever the topic was. Sometimes it was about veterinary medicine, other times geology, but most recently my heart has been focused on behavioral neuroscience and emergency medicine. I bring this same intensity and focus to every aspect of my life and career. The last several years I have had the privilege to work as a medical scribe in the ED alongside over 60+ physician at Baptist Medical Center here in Jacksonville, FL. I love my job and the opportunities it provides me to learn and make connections with people along the way, whether that be with patients, physicians, nurses, other scribes, etc. I think there is a lot you can learn from the people you choose to surround yourself with. As Scribe Director I want to bring this opportunity to more people like me who have a passion to pursue medicine. I promise to bring each of my clients and candidates the same focus as I give to other aspects of my work, school, and hobbies. To my future scribes, I promise to do my best to get you to where you need to go on your journey towards a future career in medicine, whatever that may look like.
