ABOUT ALEXANDRE VERMEIL GIRARD

With years of experience in media management of various forms, I specialize in managing and delivering quality content for household names effectively, within budget, and on time. Currently working on a feature animated film from a beloved series that spans over two decades, I have also collaborated with Mattel\'s MEGA division in bringing to life various YouTube animated series such as the stop-motion series Hot Wheels MEGADROME and the CG series MEGA Building Adventures with Barbie. I also acted as MEGA\'s Photo Producer where I was charge of overseeing the production of photographic assets for packaging, e-commerce, and other marketing needs. During that time I brought well-needed structure, worked in collaboration with a team of freelance artists I hired, and conducted training sessions with non-creatives about the basics of photography. As a Film & Media graduate (Master of Art), I have a true passion for visual media of all sorts with a particular affection for animation. My experience in Academia combined with my studies in education also gives me the tools to properly train and mentor incoming colleagues who might need it.
