Cost optimization: Initiated and led a project to have a hybrid runner infrastructure in Ansible and Terraform, saving CAD a year and improving pipeline jobs by 10% on average from day one, with more improvements to come. Used project management skills, networking, Prometheus monitoring, ProxMox, VMware, Python scripting, and local as well as cloud based backups. Observability and monitoring: Implemented large scale monitoring systems to allow the prevention of 95% of issues and lowering MTTR under 30 minutes, fully deployed in our dozen Kubernetes clusters with Grafana, Mimir, Loki, Alloy, Prometheus, using Terraform and ArgoCD. Supervised inclusion of OpenTelemetry in latest web developments for real user monitoring. Process improvements: Advocacy of Infrastructure as Code tools and good practices across multiple teams and founded the company’s CCoE to drive the discussion on best practice definition and implementation in upcoming projects in a \"You build it, you run it\" culture. Automated security reports in Python reducing the time necessary to deliver SoC2 audit reports from 45 days to less than a day. Used Terraform, Ansible, Python, Powershell. Automation and Reliability Improvements: Defined Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to manage reliability expectations effectively and publicize internally our results. Used Azure Virtual Network, Grafana and communication skills. DevOps: Working alongside 10 developer teams and one AI group supporting products of the company in different ecosystems including C++, C#, Java, Javascript, Typescript, Python from the hardware all the way to the cloud. Developed CI/CD pipelines and tools to improve quality of code, speed of deployment and reliability. Used GitLab, Git, Jenkins, Scrum, SonarQube, Software Composition Analysis (SCA) and Static Application Security Testing tools (SAST).
