ABOUT ALEXANDRE NAKANO MARQUES

I have been sharing experiences and learning new skills throughout my life and that’s why I consider myself a skillful and motivated person in every challenge that I have faced. Here are 4 highlights of my professional life that I would like to share and show you how IT has become a great passion in my life, which makes me a proud software developer.1 - My first degree was a bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urbanism at the University of São Paulo, and it was an outstanding learning journey, where I could develop a multidisciplinary perspective to analyze anything. This skill makes me understand and evaluate a problem and try to give a solution that fits better in a determined circumstance.2 - After this professional experience in architecture, I have had the chance to work with design and technology at the same time in a FabLab. It has changed a lot of my beliefs, especially because I have worked teaching design thinking, technology, and maker skills (3D printer, laser cutter, electronic circuits, and programming) for children. I could understand that I can learn everywhere and with anyone. Therefore, I have had sure to keep on with my second higher education: Technologist’s degree from São Paulo College of Technology.3 - I have faced my fears of being too old for giving a try in a job interview in a multinational company and I have participated in an internship recruitment process for IBM. I have been approved and became a software developer for one of the biggest banks in Brazil (Bradesco). I am well pleased with this chance and a boost in my technical skills, especially because I have had a great developer team to guide me and develop my technical skills in cloud computing (creating microservices, using Kubernetes, CI/CD), and in software developing in Typescript with Angular 9, JavaScript with NodeJS and Express, and Java 8.4 - I had the opportunity of being the technical leader of the project of the new logged homepage at Bank Bradesco between 2019 and 2020. I could guide my team during all the software development lifecycle and could learn precious learnings with all this experience. Now, this new cloud-based application is available for over 4 million clients in Brazil and by the end, there will be more than 18 million clients using this page. It has been a great delivery and to notice that I could learn and thrive very quickly in a new career.I love to accept new challenges and I enjoy participating of a great project with a motivated group. That makes things worth.
