About Alexandra Wales Wahl
A native of Dallas, Alex attended Christ the King School and later Ursuline Academy, before heading to the University of Georgia where she earned a B.S. in Psychology. After a year of employment litigation casework with Rogers & Hardin in Atlanta, Alex moved home to Dallas to attend law school. While at SMU Dedman School of Law, she worked as a volunteer for Catholic Charities of Dallas Legal Services advising indigent clients on immigration law and the Violence Against Women Act and interned with Block & Garden, LLP, a boutique business law firm. She also studied comparative international law at University College in Oxford, England. Following graduation, Alex served as a clerk for the Honorable Judge Jane Boyle in the U.S. Federal District Court where she drafted orders, conducted research, and attended federal trials. She was a prosecutor for the Dallas County District Attorney\'s Office and practiced family law with McClure Law Group. Alex practiced probate litigation with Spencer Law, PC with a focus on all aspects of estate, trust, fiduciary, and guardianship disputes, then practiced general civil litigation at Parsons McEntire McCleary, a boutique Dallas firm. At Wick Phillips, Alex currently focuses her practice on a wide variety of civil litigation.An avid volunteer, Alex provides pro bono services for the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program (DVAP), was a board chair for the T. Boone Pickens Leadership Institute, serves as chair of the Dallas Bar Association Judiciary Committee, and is involved in the Junior League of Dallas, volunteering at Ronald McDonald House of Dallas. For years, she served on the advisory board for \"The One\" Society, a non-profit young professionals\' group she helped found in 2010 that has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for Children\'s Medical Center. Her passions include cooking, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family and two beloved dogs.
