ABOUT ALEXANDRA RYBKA
I’m a graduate Manufacturing Engineer working as a Mechanical/Manufacturing Designer (EIT) at Vitalis in Kelowna. My background includes experience in automation, controls, and design for manufacturing, built through both academic and hands-on industry roles. At UBC Okanagan, I gained valuable technical and leadership experience through UBCO Motorsports, the 3D Printing Club, and GearingUp. I’ve also worked in the Energy and Automotive sectors, where I developed skills in mechanical design, quality assurance, and PCB design. My Capstone Project involved designing a control system for a stratospheric laser targeting and tracking system. I’m passionate about systems design, innovation, and turning complex challenges into real-world engineering solutions.
