About Alexandra K.
Alexandra Korba is a documentary producer currently working with Moxie Films in Los Angeles. At present, she is producing the series \"The Synanon Fix\" for HBO Documentary Films, which is set to have its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in early 2024. Korba most recently worked on the feature-length documentary film \"ADRIFT\" about the history of the global refugee system which premiered at the Mill Valley Film Festival in 2023. Prior to that, she worked on the Moxie Films and Imagine Documentaries co-production,\"DOWNFALL: The Case Against Boeing\", which premiered at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival and on Netflix shortly thereafter. Korba is a graduate of American University’s School of International Service and School of Communication with concentrations in global conflict and film/media. Prior to her time with Moxie Films, she worked as a consultant for clients at the Cannes Film Festival, Venice Film Festival, Golden Globe Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards. She also worked previously at National Geographic Channel and Paramount Pictures. Whenever possible, she volunteers with organizations such as United Nations Women LA, Witness Change, and Las Fotos Project, a non-profit that mentors young female photographers in the LA area. She is a member of Women in Film and the Documentary Producers Alliance.
