About Alexandra Hornick
I’m proud to be an alumna of Texas Christian University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Dietetics through the Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD). I am continuing my journey as a graduate student and dietetic intern at Indiana University Indianapolis, working toward becoming a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.I have a strong passion for pediatric nutrition and am especially interested in how nutrition science is translated into high-quality, accessible products and programs that support children and families. Through my experiences with infant and toddler feeding brands, nutrition research, and dietetic internship rotations in foodservice management and public health, I’ve developed a growing interest in nutrition roles within industry. I’m motivated by work that improves childhood nutrition at scale, supports food safety and transparency, and contributes to purpose-driven food and nutrition companies.
