A 32 telemetry bed unit providing exceptional care for the adult population. Preceptor for new nurse residents and new hires.Population encompasses orthopedic, trauma, med-surg, and telemetry.During the COVID-19 Pandemic my unit was turned into the COVID-19 unit. I provided direct patient care from the beginning of the pandemic to COVID-19 patients - including but not limited to management of Oxygen (increasing oxygen based on needs - nasal cannula, heated hi-flo, nonrebreathers, CPAP & BiPAP machines) administering medication, providing education to the patients and families regarding new medication and plan of care, providing emotional support to patients and patient\'s families, etc.
