About Alexandra Willoughby
I am the Bridge Technical Manager in Michael Baker International\'s Minneapolis office. In this role I provide leadership to our team of engineers on the design, load rating and analysis of new and existing bridges. I have experience designing both prestressed concrete and curved and skewed steel girder bridges, analyzing concrete and steel arch bridges, and rehabilitating historic truss bridges. My work involves building complex 3D finite element models, designing emergency repairs for different bridge components, performing strut-and-tie analysis of concrete pier caps and serving as a project manager.
