I specialise in tax audit and accounting, and am a lead member of Deloitte’s tax accounting competency group, addressing complex technical issues in this area.I work with clients in a number of ways, including leading IFRS and US GAAP group tax audit work. Projects for non-audit clients include:• Tax provision outsource: full preparation of tax provision numbers for inclusion in clients’ accounts;• Tax provision co-source: assisting client teams with the preparation of tax provision numbers;• Tax provision process improvement projects;• Assistance in identifying uncertain tax positions;• Leading tax accounting training for local controllers;• GAAP conversions between IFRS/US GAAP and current UK GAAP/IFRS/FRS102.I also lead various compliance and reporting outsource engagements for international groups.
