I am a Therapeutic Coach within the START Therapeutic Coaching (STC) program. In my job, I work with children, teens and adults with IDD across North Carolina to identify strengths and vulnerabilities in their system in addition to working alongside individuals and care providers to promote growth and overall wellbeing. As a coach, I am highly trained to offer therapeutic resources, strategies, and skills that can promote growth. STC is a short term program (ranging from three days to ten weeks) and the amount of hours for STC is determined by the START team in conjunction with the individual’s team based on need, availability, and appropriateness.
