Supervisors: Dr. Lara Gonzalez Carretero and Prof. Michelle Alexander with additional support from Dr. Dilnoza Duturaeva, Lecturer in Medieval History at University of York, Prof Tim Williams Emeritus Professor of Silk Roads Archaeology at UCL Institute of Archaeology, and Prof Dorian Fuller Professor of Archaeobotany at UCL Institute of Archaeology. Partnered with Central Asian Archaeological Landscapes (CAAL) and funded by AHRC PhD studentship funding through the White Rose College of the Arts & Humanities in the Department of Archaeology at the University of York.
