Partnership Cultivation & Planning:• Spearheads the identification and cultivation of pivotal external relationships advancing NYC Tourism’s core mission• Executes creative strategic partnerships across the five boroughs, fostering goodwill andaligning relationships with organizational goals• Crafts strategy documents, including strategic planning and briefing memos, demonstrating a keen ability to distill complex information into actionable insights.Stakeholder & Community Engagement:• Serves as the main point of contact for inquiries from elected officials, City agencies, community members, and various stakeholders• Engages with relevant government and external stakeholders to expand visibility of programs and marketing initiatives; including NYC Restaurant Week, NYC Broadway Week, NYC Hotel Week, and NYC Must-See Week, which supports our 1,900 members and resulted in 61.8 million visitors in 2023• Leads collaboration with each of the five Borough Halls on the NYC Tourism Foundation annual grants which fund cultural organizations across the five boroughs. In 2023 we provided funding to nearly 60 organizationsDynamic Government Relations:• Advise on projects and initiatives across departments, providing insights into their implications for government and external stakeholders• Maintains relationship with the City Hall team and city agencies, addressing pivotal matters impacting New York City’s tourism industry. Ensure organizational messaging aligns with public policy and priorities, benefitting neighborhoods and communities across the City
