ABOUT ALEXANDRA SAVAGE
When I was 17, I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro. Not metaphorically—I literally climbed the highest mountain in Africa and the 4th biggest mountain in the world.While I was climbing, I thought about quitting many of times. But despite the low altitude, mental and physical fatigue I kept going. I’m that person. Once I say I’ll do something, I\'ll do it. Once I overcame mind of matter I automatically became the leader to the others who were struggling throughout the climb.I saw people\'s strengths and weakness over the 6 days and took it upon myself to teach them ways to overcome the weaknesses and push through them. It was such an amazing feeling when we all got to the top knowing each and every one of us wanted to give up but we didn\'t, we all pushed through and achieved such an amazing once in a lifetime achievement.After this challenge, I knew I wanted to go to university and achieve a degree. My interests are Sport, IT and Business so when it came down to choosing my degree I decided to go for IT and Business. My Grandad and Dad had/have their own businesses, seeing the potential and success I could achieve really strives me on to become the best I can be.
