ABOUT ALEXANDRA SAHAGUN

I have over five years of experience in safety, loss prevention, and corrections, and I currently work as a Safety Coordinator at the Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM). My core competencies are OSHA compliance, data analysis, and risk management. My mission is to support and enhance the safety and security of NEXCOM\'s operations, employees, and customers.As a Safety Coordinator, I assist with various safety programs and initiatives, such as the Risk Management Information (RMI) system, the Department of Transportation Commercial Driver\'s License (CDL) program, and the Department of Navy Drug-Free Workplace Program. I also analyze and report on injury/illness mishap data, and initiate actions to improve safety performance. Additionally, I contribute to the development and implementation of various programs ensuring compliance with Department of Navy safety codes and standards. Through these responsibilities, I demonstrate my skills in safety program support, OSHA compliance, data analysis, and communication. As an experienced professional with a background in sociology, criminology, and psychology, I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team and the organization.
