I possess over 25 years of legal experience, including recent leadership in privacy, information/AI governance, FOIA, and data strategy—grounded in a strong foundation of employment law and workplace compliance.At the Federal Aviation Administration, I led and managed legal teams supporting enterprise initiatives and obligations in FOIA, privacy, records management, AI, advanced data analytics, and aviation modernization. I partnered with the CIO, CAIO, CISO, CDO, FOIA & Record Officers to shape legal and policy strategies, and guided the issuance of FAA’s first Generative AI use policy. I also led the development of critical data-sharing agreements and software/SaaS policy guidance, helping the agency balance innovation, legal risk, and public trust.In addition to my information governance/FOIA/privacy leadership, I also advised on employment and workplace compliance, including whistleblower protections, misconduct investigations, and disciplinary policy. My litigation and advisory work helped protect institutional integrity and ensure compliance with federal personnel laws.I hold a J.D. and CIPP/US certification.
