ABOUT ALEXANDRA ORLOVA

Dr. Alexandra Orlova is a Professor in the Department of Criminology and Lincoln Alexander Law School at Ryerson University. She received her Ph.D. in Law from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University, in 2004. She also holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Osgoode Hall Law School.Her main research interests focus on transnational organized crime, global constitutionalism and human rights, as well as Russian organized crime, international terrorism and international crimes. She has published articles in the areas of international law, human rights as well as traditional and non-traditional security threats
