I currently serve in the humanitarian leadership team overseeing a team of 22 people. The overall purpose of my portfolio is to develop, support and oversee the quality of our programmes and provide the strategy, platforms and data necessary to make informed management decisions at global and national levels. My portfolio includes a range of areas such as strategy, evidence and accountability, information and knowledge management, organizational learning and digital solutions for our global humanitarian programmes. Previously, I also oversaw a team that led staff capacity development and management of an in-house last mile mobile platform to manage assistance to affected people\'s.Some keys areas which I have led in this role on behalf of our global humanitarian team include- Development of a global humanitarian strategic plan and annual fora to plan and implement it- Cross-organisational engagement to expand our work in fragile contexts and to establish a global impact data platform- Multiple audits against the Core Humanitarian Standard and corrective actions to address findings including securing a large scale global grant to do so- Special focus on better addressing vulnerability and child-focus in our programmes in collaboration with ODI- Team planning and re-structuring to better address priorities- Representation on ODI\'s Advisory Council and ALNAP

I have worked in international development, humanitarian and governance programmes for over 25 years where I have developed the following main areas of expertise- Managing virtual and on-site teams of highly skilled professionals including significant change management - Collaboration, leveraging resources and expertise within and across large organisations - The collection and application of evidence into the development of strategy and organisational change - The application of digital approaches and technology to improve access and analysis of information and data - Staff development using online and face to face training approaches - Design and application of humanitarian accountability and community participation processes - Project design and proposal development for large and small programmes
