Selected to serve on the Community Advisory Board (CAB) for the West-East Connections (WEConnect) Study which is an initiative led by the Salt Lake City Transportation Division aimed at addressing transportation gaps and improving mobility across Salt Lake City’s west and east neighborhoods. As a CAB member, I collaborate with city planners, transportation professionals, and community stakeholders to provide input and recommendations that center community voices and ensure equity in long-term transportation planning.Key contributions include- Participating in regular in-person meetings to review project updates and provide community-based feedback- Representing community concerns and priorities to help shape infrastructure planning- Supporting efforts to build more inclusive, safe, and sustainable transportation options citywide.
