As a Summer Intern at SVN | Desert Commercial Advisors, I’ve had the opportunity to support active commercial real estate deals across multiple asset types, including retail, office, and industrial. My role involves underwriting investment opportunities, analyzing rent rolls and operating statements, and conducting market research using CoStar to help inform broker strategy and client recommendations. I’ve also gained hands-on experience with listing preparation, from creating aerial maps and offering memorandums in Buildout and Adobe, to collaborating on marketing campaigns and team presentations. Working alongside experienced brokers has given me insight into the transactional process, reinforced the value of data-driven decision making, and strengthened my interest in building a long-term career in commercial real estate.
