ABOUT ALEXANDRA IRISH
Qualified online ESL teacher (CELTA‑equivalent Level 5, DELTA‑equivalent Level 7) with 600+ hours of accredited TESOL and TEFL training. I began my online TEFL journey in April 2020 and have since taught business professionals across a wide range of industries—from media executives and doctors to football teams—using immersive, goal‑driven methods.As a multilingual professional with advanced Spanish (B2–C2 certificates), A-level French, and ongoing studies in Polish, Italian, Swedish, and German, I connect with students through a shared passion for language and culture. With British, Polish, and French heritage, time spent living in Spain, and a strong background in French from childhood, I bring an international perspective and continue learning in honour of my mother’s Polish roots.Alongside teaching, I have extensive experience in PA, EA, and administration across high-profile companies in retail, real estate, and education. From November 2024 to October 2025, I worked as a teaching administrator at the University of Cambridge’s Department of Earth Sciences, and I have supported several other University departments in temporary roles.I returned to online teaching in November 2025 and am newly appointed as a FUNDAE tutor on Twenix, helping learners stay motivated, keep practising, and enjoy the process.
