About Alexandra Hartman
Alexandra is a TV, podcast, and cryptocurrency writer, who from an early age, was primed by opera singer parents to tell fierce, female-led stories. She started out, working as support staff on Netflix’s ALTERED CARBON, CBS’ ZOO, Facebook Watch’s LIMETOWN (based on the hit podcast), and Hulu’s CANDY. Alex wrote episode seven of Netflix’s COWBOY BEBOP, which the New York Times called the season’s “most successful mashup… which combines Faye’s search for details about her past with a delicious new journey featuring a con woman who poses as Faye’s mother.” During the Covid apocalypse, Alex wrote and co-produced the podcast, GHOST TAPE, for Automatik TV and QCode, which was chosen as Apple Podcast\'s Best of the Year 2020 and won her an invitation to speak at the Austin Film Festival 2021. Alexandra adapted a novel, GOOD MORNING, MONSTER into a podcast for Dear Media, which will be available on all podcast platforms in October 2023. After writers’ assisting on ABC’s THE COMPANY YOU KEEP, Alexandra started writing her 3rd scripted podcast for Audible and Audio Up. However, Alexandra’s passion for crypto and finance writing has made her interested in more opportunities in the space. She has a unique way of communicating complex and potentially dry subject matter in an entertaining and easy-to-understand way.
