About Alexandra Gavioli
I am currently a business student at the University of Pittsburgh, majoring in Data Analytics and Marketing in the College of Business Administration. This past summer I interned with Fox Corporation in NYC with the Business Intelligence team. I was able to utilize the skills that I have honed in the classroom within my analytics major in new and exciting ways with various projects and presentations! This past school year I began working with fintech start up Iron Nickel, focusing on product development for a new financial app and as a marketing intern at Cooper Apparel and Promotions, a women owned business in Pittsburgh! I had extremely valuable experiences at both companies and will continue working with them in the coming year. To further my academic progress and professional development outside of the classroom I am involved in a number of organizations such has the American Marketing Association (AMA) on campus. I have been exposed to many different careers within marketing and I\'m constantly developing my professional skills with new opportunities through AMA. I am also working to expand and perfect my analytics skills with the League of Emerging Analytic Professionals (LEAP). I received my certification in Excel and Tableau through LEAP! I\'m personally passionate about the fashion industry and am also involved in the Fashion Business Association (FBA) where I have grown from a Director position to the VP of Administration. Through FBA I\'ve had the privilege of being exposed to and moderating panels with many industry professionals and received amazing professional advice.Please feel free to connect with any industry advice or opportunities!
