ABOUT ALEXANDRA ESTERAS

I\'m working at the intersection of academia and industry, building partnerships that translate breakthrough science into therapies and technologies that reach patients. I’m a firm believer in the power of science and innovation to improve people’s live. My career journey has taken me through 4 different countries as a scientist studying protein misfolding, R&D manager in the consumer industry and pharma market access consulting. Leveraging on these experiences, I’m currently building bridges between academia and industry through technology transfer, business development and partnerships. I’m extremely lucky to work with the brightest minds in academia, industry, charity and government to develop scientific discoveries into patient impact. I enjoy developing strategy and new ideas, aligning teams around a vision whilst focusing on targets and efficiency. I have a healthy disregard for the impossible, a passion for connecting with people and an eye for opportunity. Mentors helped me to find a fulfilling career path, I’m now giving back by supporting the next generation of entrepreneurial scientistsYou can learn more about my different roles and accomplishments in my profile.
