Draft and design new plant extension and as-builts utilizing AutoCAD- Produce various maps for permitting and design requirements- Provide drawings and details in both CAD based platforms and other media to determine and display design criteria- Import AutoCAD, TIFF or other file formats and hard copy maps to create electronic base maps for road bases, MDU’s & strand routing- Design fibre optic communications network and Cable TV system to client design specifications- Incorporate field and as-built changes from draft prints to the system database- Communicate with the Permit Department and Coordinators in order to gather and provide accurate information with regards to construction design- Determine method to design the plant changes with mínimal impact to the system/customer and minimize related construction cost and ensures quality of design- Complete projects within prescribed time limits and within budget- Work closely with GIS, Survey Staff, Project Coordinators and other internal resources to execute projects within a timely fashion, while operating within budgetary requirements
