About MeWith 15 years of dynamic experience in global business, I’m Alexandra Crisan—a passionate professional who has lived and worked in Bucharest, Paris, Kigali, and beyond, embracing remote work while currently based in Italy with my family. Career HighlightsFor almost a decade, I was part of the Danone family, known as one of the best marketing schools in the world. There, I led impactful projects, from crafting an ambitious brand strategy for Actimel in France to pioneering an innovative digital printing activation. Managing the EU partnership with The Walt Disney Company for nearly three years was a testament to my strategic acumen and ability to drive high-profile collaborations. Driving Global Impact in KigaliIn Kigali, Rwanda, I took on a bold new challenge, joining Bboxx to help combat energy poverty. I launched an e-commerce platform for the Rwandan diaspora, optimized sales force performance, and led the transition to fully digitized operational planning—all during the Covid-19 pandemic. Business Expansion at BboxxAfter maternity leave, I returned to Bboxx to launch the Pay-As-You-Go Smartphone business line, leading pilots across three African countries with distinct business models, paving the way for large-scale expansion. Entrepreneurship & Career ExplorationStepping into a breakthrough phase of career exploration, I co-founded Recovery Road, a startup dedicated to supporting individuals facing eating disorders through online treatment.
