ABOUT ALEXANDRA CAMPBELL

Alexandra Campbell specializes in the technical problem solving unique to creative construction work. As a production designer, she is a decisive leader whose experience and foresight add tangible value to every team she leads. Her hands-on approach is fueled by a background in fine art, fabrication, and themed entertainment construction. When the hard hat comes off, Alexandra is also a photographer, a singer, and a SCUBA diver who brings the same passionate enthusiasm to everything she does.Alexandra moved to Orlando from Rochester, NY shortly after earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting. Drawn to the gratification of collaborative art processes, Alexandra’s artistic foundation began with a two-year scenic apprenticeship at one of the region’s most acclaimed professional theaters: Orlando Shakes. Branching out into fabrication, Alexandra began building high-quality props and scenery for world-class leaders in the immersive entertainment industry, which honed skills in metalworking, sculpture, carpentry, mold-making, and more.Alexandra has led teams of fabricators and installers to success on projects such as Disney’s Frozen: Ever After at Epcot, Skull Island: Reign of Kong at Universal’s Islands of Adventure, as well as props and specialty lighting fixtures for The Edison at Disney Springs. Across the country, Alexandra’s credits include production design for Meow Wolf’s Las Vegas exhibition: Omega Mart, where she guided the massive metal fabrication effort that went into building “The Factory.” In Denver, Colorado, she both coordinated production and contributed artwork to Meow Wolf’s Convergence Station in Denver, CO.Along with creative leadership, Alexandra excels at organization, communication, and meticulous documentation. Her comprehensive knowledge of materials and fabrication processes informs a real-world understanding of project cost and time measurement. During the design process, she advises designers in practical production and buildability. Successful production and installation of props and scenery requires Alexandra to be a strategic planner as well as a quick and effective problem solver. She is proficient at understanding the strengths of her team members and utilizing those strengths to produce work of the best quality, while always prioritizing safety. Alexandra works closely with project owners and general contractors in order to efficiently collaborate toward on-schedule and on-budget attractions.
